The focus of this is telling, the foreground and background how you have centered our eye on the figure, yet we are left free to explore once we have enjoyed the beautiful texture. This has a very special feel to it, also a bit sad. The softness of colours in the background contrast with the clearness of the main figure, creating depth that matches the quote! Is the person in the picture on the wall the same as the main figure? Your drawings are always so intrigueing! Bravo Denise!
