"Quem será que ela espera, atrasado/atrasada que está? E ela, quem será? Que me olha como se a desconfiar que de seus planos e estratagemas desconfio? Ombros parcialmente retraídos, olhos que misturam tempos: infância amadurecida, o sabido e o desconhecido. "Assim é, que 'me' parece" a senhorita que me intima no fio da imagem, deslocando minhas palavras, retorcendo minhas parcas construções. Ao contrário das míticas tradições que depositam no comprimento dos cabelos o ímpeto, acho que sua força é coisa desse corte curto, expressão de seus modos rápidos, ímpios?, do ar inatingível de extrema resolução."

"Who does she expect, late / delayed is that? And she, who will? Me looks as if the suspect of his plans and stratagems suspect? Partially retracted shoulders, eyes that mix time: childhood matured, the known and the unknown. I have a mysticism

'Se quiserem que eu tenha um misticismo'
Se quiserem que eu tenha um misticismo, está bem,
tenho-o.
Sou místico, mas só com o corpo.
A minha alma é simples e não pensa.
O meu misticismo é não querer saber.
É viver e não pensar nisso.
Não sei o que é a Natureza: canto-a.
Vivo no cimo dum outeiro
Numa casa caiada e sozinha,
E essa é a minha definição.
